Creel is a Magic Town located on the heights of the Tarahumara Mountain Range. Due to its proximity to the state’s capital and the railroads, it’s an obliged destination for those who visit Chihuahua.
Named after its founder, Enrique Creel, this small but heartwarming town offers a beautiful wooded square with a kiosk and a magnificent church.
In order to get to this location you have to take the very last passenger train of the country, which takes you through marvelous sceneries of tunnels and bridges that pierce the mountain range.
