CIty of great touristic potential for everything it has to offer, the Magical Town of Lagos de Moreno, a municipality in the beautiful state of Jalisco, possesses a natural beauty.
It boasts lovely architecture, a peaceful environment, and an intense cultural life, with its peculiar hotels (the majority of which used to be haciendas), and its famous hot springs.
Enjoying this city is simple.
The peace of the area and a warm melancholy disposition to history it offers make enjoying oneself an easy task.
Above all because Lagos offers it all for relaxation, peace and fun, be it living a moment of adventure, a moment of tranquility, or a moment of entertainment.
Its buildings and construction take us to times where its bridges and streets were part of the Road to Tierra Adentro; its natural beauty and semi dry climate are a background to the famous bridge of the Lagos River, named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Lagos de Moreno is an open invitation to discover unforgettable destinations like these.

the Parochial Church of Our Lady of Assumption, attributed to the local artist Juan Nepomuceno Bautista.
It is a building dating to the 18th century.
It has a stunning baroque facade in pink stone that emphasises its flourishes, as well as an impressive atrium from the 19th century.
We have no doubt that this is the best option to begin your trip.
Near the church is the Museum of Religious Art.
It is a small museum, but still worth of a visit, with beautiful pieces throughout.
Also close by is the majestic Jose Rosas Moreno Theatre, built in the fashion of the Porfirian era.
We recommend a visit to the Rinconada de Capuchinas, where you can find the Temple and Ex-Convent of the Capuchinas.
This is a structure erected in 1743 under the supervision of priest Diego Jose Cervantes, with another stunning facade, as well as vaults within that make it a worthy stop.
Inside you will also find neoclassical altarpieces and some 19th century art.
Your trip cannot end without a visit to Sepulveda Hacienda.
Its construction dates back to the 17th century and was a part of the Royal Road to Zacatecas.
