Oaxtepec is known as “the place of guajes”, and it is located in the state of Morelos.

Must-see monuments are: the Asunción Parish in Rancho Nuevo that traces back to the year 1556, the Chapel of Santiago, the Church of Ixtlahuacan, and the Chapel of San Juan; as well as the haciendas called Oacalco, Apanquetzalco, Atlihuayán, San Carlos Borromeo, Cocoyoc and Xochimancas.
By the edges of the Huajes Mountain, you will find bases and archeological pyramids that are a must-see spot in your visit.
